AC Maintenance
AC Maintenance & Seasonal Service
The visit that prevents the 2 AM call — coil cleaning, drain clearing, electrical check and performance measurement.

Almost every emergency call we run was preventable, and the preventable part is nearly always the same three things: a condensate drain that clogged, a capacitor that was already reading low, and a condenser coil so packed with dirt that the system had been running hot for months. None of those are expensive to catch. All of them are expensive to ignore.
In Florida the maintenance interval matters more than it does elsewhere, because the system runs most of the year rather than a season. Coils load up with dust and pollen, the drain line grows biological slime in the humidity, and capacitors degrade under constant cycling. A real maintenance visit measures the system rather than glancing at it — amp draw against nameplate, capacitor microfarads against rating, refrigerant charge, temperature split and static pressure — so problems show up as numbers trending the wrong way, well before they show up as a failure.
Why it's worth doing
- Catches weak capacitors and burning contactors before they strand you
- Prevents the clogged condensate drain that causes ceiling damage
- Restores the efficiency a dirty condenser coil quietly takes away
- Keeps manufacturer warranty requirements satisfied
- Gives you a documented performance baseline year over year
What a maintenance visit covers
- Condenser and evaporator coil inspection and cleaning
- Condensate line clearing, flush and safety-float test
- Capacitor, contactor and electrical connection testing against rated values
- Refrigerant charge verification
- Blower and filter check, airflow and static pressure reading
- Thermostat calibration and control check
- A written summary of what was measured, not just a tick sheet

How often should a Florida system be serviced?
Twice a year is the honest answer for a system that runs nearly year-round — once before the heavy cooling season and once after. A single annual visit is far better than none.
What is the $59 tune-up?
A full system check offered as a current promotion. Confirm availability when you book — we will tell you on the phone if it has changed.
